There's lots of 'talk' in these tutorials about accessing a database through a web-based interface. But you need to feel secure that visitors to your web site DO NOT have too much access. If you use a database editor on your site, it needs to be protected in such a way that trolling surfers can't access it (except in ways you control). And you certainly don't want your database username and password exposed for all the world to see.
