Changing the background colour in a table cell when you move the mouse over the cell.
This cell background colour change isn't quite the same 'cross-browser' as the other tips. It uses layer and ilayer together to achieve the Explorer and Navigator effects. The cells are not clickable (even though they change onmouseOver) but the link in the center row is:
