 My contest entry 

The design is cross-browser & scalable; my validator claims there are no errors; javascript was abused for the status window, and some really *cool* CSS applied.

There's even a contact link at the bottom of the page!

But - like so many web pages - this *stunningly brilliant* design would be useless without any real content.
